Dried sweet potato grown in the bosom of Mt. Fuji

This semi-fresh dried sweet potato is made using only Beni Haruka sweet potatoes grown in the volcanic ash soil of Mt. Fuji, which is ideal for growing sweet potatoes. Beni Haruka sweet potatoes are aged after harvest to bring out their maximum sweetness before processing. Dried slowly in the sun under the cold, dry wind from Mt. Fuji, known as "Fuji Oroshi," the dried sweet potato is golden in color and has a soft texture. It has a deep sweetness and flavor, and is rich in nutrients, making it an additive-free sweet recommended for all generations.

Gotemba-Oyama Sweet Potato Processed Products Production Association

The Beni Haruka potatoes used to make the dried sweet potatoes are only produced by the members of the association. In order to standardize the quality of the local brand, detailed cultivation management is carried out, including fertilization appropriate to each farmland based on soil analysis. After harvesting, the potatoes are left to mature to bring out their sweetness, and then the members themselves process them into dried sweet potatoes. We will continue to work hard to make this a product that is loved by many people.
