Yaizu-style seared bonito, grilled onion straw

"Yaizu Style Seared Bonito Oniwarayaki" is made by skilled connoisseurs, using bonito that have been frozen alive immediately after being caught. While still frozen, the surface is charred with a burner, and then the bonito is wrapped in a straw flame like an oni to add aroma. This "hybrid technique" is the Yaizu style. The freshness and flavor of the bonito are locked in all at once, resulting in a deliciousness that will wow even connoisseurs. The aromatic, specially made yuzu ponzu sauce also enhances the flavor of the bonito. Each piece is vacuum-packed, making it a great gift idea.
