Award summary

・Fujisan Co., Ltd. Buffet Restaurant Fujisan is committed to local production and local consumption, and serves dishes that use plenty of local ingredients, such as Shiraito Koshihikari, eggs from Asagiri-raised chickens, and Asagiri milk, with a focus on fresh vegetables purchased from contracted farmers. We always offered more than 35 items, promoting the appeal of Shizuoka's food both domestically and internationally.

Outline of award-winning organization

・Located within the Asagiri Kogen Asagiri Food Park, we offer a wide variety of menus using local ingredients, with the slogan of local production for local consumption. You can spend a wonderful time while looking at the world heritage site Mt. Fuji.

・Rather than being complacent with the scenery of Mt. Fuji, we value three things: ``The farmers' commitment begins with land development,'' ``The chef's commitment begins with the selection of ingredients,'' and ``A commitment to sincere consideration and service.'' .  

・In addition to managing the cafeteria, we also sell souvenirs, develop, support and sell products related to local industries, and plan various events.

Introduction of initiatives

(1) Providing services such as meals, experiences, shopping, etc. in collaboration with nearby facilities

  In addition to providing meals as a buffet restaurant, we also collaborate with Asagiri Roadside Station Asagiri Kogen and Asagiri Food Park to offer various experiences (such as original blended genmaicha with matcha and cookie making) and the sale of products using local ingredients. By doing so, we attracted tourists from within and outside the prefecture, contributing to increased consumption and tourism promotion.

(2) Providing dishes using local ingredients and disseminating PV videos

  By actively handling excellent ingredients from local producers, we are promoting the creation of a system that will lead to regional revitalization. In addition, we created promotional videos that introduced ingredients and cooking scenes, and introduced the characteristics of ingredients, how to use them, and delicious ways to eat them, thereby promoting the appeal of local ingredients.

 

The Next Development

・We will continue to strive to communicate the appeal of food at our current stores and on SNS.

・Also, we would like to spread the food from Shizuoka all over the country through our mail order business by creating dressings with original recipes using Shizuoka ingredients and retorting dishes (OEM, etc.).
