As part of the prefecture's efforts to make Fujinokuni the "City of Food," chefs and confectioners who actively use ingredients from Shizuoka Prefecture and contribute to the promotion of the prefecture's agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and food culture were awarded the title "Fujinokuni Food City Creation Workers." In addition, every year, workers who have performed particularly outstanding activities are awarded the title "The Worker of the Year."
