Born in Miyagi Prefecture in 1954. At the age of 16 he decided to pursue a career in cooking, and at the age of 18 he jumped into the world of cooking. After working at Hibiya Matsumotoro restaurant in Tokyo, he went to Switzerland and France to train as a chef for about four years. After returning to Japan, he got a job at a French restaurant in Shizuoka City through a chance encounter. In 4, he became independent and opened "Monsieur MOIZUMI" in Otemachi, Aoi Ward, Shizuoka City. Moved to current location in 1985.

Mr. Shigeizumi, a veteran owner-chef who has been active in the culinary world for nearly 40 years, created his own homepage when the Internet started to become popular, even though he is in his late 60s, and has been promoting it in accordance with the trends of the times. I've been looking for a way.

Many of the fans who visit the store are in the calm age group of 35 to 70, and some of them are regular customers who have been coming from the store before it moved. It is used for a wide range of purposes, including everyday use, family anniversaries, and memorial services, and many customers from outside the prefecture are fascinated by the flavor. "Cooking is a one-shot affair. You need to express the ingredients and the feelings you have at that moment in an instant," says Shigeizumi.

All dishes made with plenty of vegetables are very satisfying, and the grilled dishes that bring out the maximum flavor of the ingredients are especially delicious. ``Shizuoka has many delicious ingredients, such as shrimp potatoes from Iwata and Suruga gamecock.In the future, I would like to hold cooking classes using local ingredients,'' says Shigeizumi.
