Release date: 2019.10.29
Providing information on the production background and attractiveness of producers in the prefecture
Pal System Shizuoka, which provides food delivery services, actively handles products from local producers and organizations that contribute to local production for local consumption and the creation of a recycling-oriented society. Originally, Pal System was a co-op operating in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Yamanashi, Gunma, Fukushima, Shizuoka, and Niigata, and they use a common product catalog. Although the supply is insufficient to supply to all members, the company introduces and distributes producers who can supply to the approximately 1 members in Shizuoka Prefecture in its own catalog. In addition, from among the producers searched by Pal System Shizuoka, products with a production volume that can be supplied to all members will be listed in the common catalog. By conveying the stories of producers, such as their production background and environment, to the headquarters, we are contributing to public relations activities to disseminate information about the appeal of prefecture-produced ingredients to members inside and outside the prefecture. Additionally, opportunities for interaction between members and producers are held several times a year. They hold tea picking experiences in Kakegawa, social gatherings to farm and make pizza in the fields of Fujinomiya, learning sessions and cooking events using eggs and milk from Izu, and vegetable harvesting events in Kikugawa.
