2. Award summary
By restoring Egawa sake and bread based on the recipe manuals left behind by the Egawa family, events will be held to disseminate the local food culture.This event aims to improve the appeal of the region by making use of the local food history and culture. This contributes to improving the appeal of Miyako Shizuoka.

 

3 Overview of award-winning organization
The purpose of this Reiwa 370 is to highlight the achievements of Egawa Hidetatsu, a famous magistrate at the end of the Edo period, to learn about him together, to spread the word throughout the country, and to widely disseminate the culture and cultural assets that are the assets of Izu. It was established on April XNUMX, XNUMX, and currently has XNUMX members nationwide.

 

4 Introduction of initiatives
The ``Society to Promote Hidetatsu Egawa'' works with local bakeries based on the bread recipe book of Hidetatsu Egawa, who is said to be the founder of bread, and uses the restored bread to hold events such as ``Egawa House Bread Festa''. Held four times a year, we strive to improve its appeal while involving the local community.

"Eiryu Burger*", which was devised in collaboration with "Fujinokuni City of Food Creator Craftsmen", has been registered as a product certified by Izunokuni City.

*Tempura burger with tempura made from Izu ingredients such as wasabi, sakura shrimp, and shiitake mushrooms.

 

5 Future developments
Through "Eiryu Burger," which uses plenty of seasonal ingredients unique to Shizuoka Prefecture, including Izu's special products (wasabi, sakura shrimp, shiitake mushrooms, etc.), Shizuoka Prefecture is known as the food capital rich in ingredients, and Izunokuni City is By promoting the fact that it is the birthplace of bread, we hope to improve the appeal of the food capital and spread the word about it.
