Shizuoka Prefecture will be holding a parent-child cooking class for elementary school students to help them learn about the features and appeal of local ingredients. The instructor is a culinary school student who actually visited production sites in the prefecture and learned about Shizuoka ingredients! Let's cook a dish using local ingredients together with the students.



(Overview)
○ Date and time: Sunday, January 28, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
○Venue: Shizuoka Gas Eneria Showroom Shizuoka Cooking Studio (1-5-38 Yawata, Suruga-ku, Shizuoka City)
○Lecturer: Students from Suzuki Gakuen Chuo Culinary and Confectionery College Shizuoka Campus (approximately 8 people)

○Menu (planned):
・Tiger-patterned futomaki sushi using beautiful yellow eggs
・[Hotel Grand Hills Shizuoka Chef Hoshina's direct teaching] Miyoku egg omelet
・Morning lotus root soup
・Setsubun bean sweets
*Some menu items will be introduced through demonstrations by instructors.
*Ingredients used may be subject to change if they are difficult to obtain.

○Target: 3rd to 6th grade elementary school students and their guardians (*Up to 2 children per guardian.)
○Capacity: 8 groups
○Participation fee: Free
