 Rediscover the value of food at the "Kakegawa Gastronomy Symposium"!

In order to create gastronomy tourism, you will learn about the food culture and history of your local area from talk sessions by distinguished speakers. You will discover things you thought you knew but didn't actually know, and enjoy learning about food.

What is needed to take on new challenges is communication that transcends fields of expertise. In addition to the talk sessions, we have set up opportunities for interaction. You may meet people who will become co-creators in the future.

I want to seriously consider gastronomy, also known as the study of fine food. I want to face my local area head-on and reexamine "what is our food culture?" while unraveling the culture, history and society there.

I believe that gastronomy tourism is based on these questions.

Let's think about local food culture together with people involved in local food, cultural history experts, people at the forefront of food tech, and people connected to the world.
