3 Overview of award-winning organization
Located in the central part of the Tanna Basin in Kannami Town, Tagata District, Shizuoka Prefecture, at an altitude of 250 meters, this facility sells processed products using the local brand "Tanna Milk" and allows you to experience a dairy farming village that has continued for over 140 years. "Tanna milk" is a valuable resource that should be passed on to many generations in a society aiming for SDGs. We aim to realize sustainable dairy farming and agriculture through processing, selling, and experiencing Tanna Milk.

4 Introduction of initiatives
We are working to create a society in which the region is dynamic through food education, local production for local consumption, the inheritance of food culture, gastronomy tourism, etc., develop the human resources who will play a part in this, and expand recognition of the Tanna brand.

(1) Development of new products
While incorporating trends, we constantly develop products such as "Tanna Milk Balm" using Tanna milk, and are developing sales channels that take advantage of the historic "Tanna" mark. In addition, "Tanna's Wasabi Butter" is a combination of butter from Tanna and wasabi leaves from Amagi, Izu, organic malt and natural water from the Fuji-Hakone Mountains drawn from a 300m deep well on the premises. We are continually developing new products such as ``Kaze no Tani Beer''. In the future, we would like to further improve the appeal of local brands by developing new products that utilize Hakone Seiroku Mishima vegetables, which are branded ingredients from the neighboring region.

(2) Creation of a tourism business model based on the development of next-generation human resources
For more than 70 years, we have been offering Tanna Milk to elementary and junior high schools in the prefecture, including tours of milk factories and cowsheds, social studies tours where students can experience harvesting vegetables, and school lunches. In addition, in order to promote the prefecture's appeal to people outside the prefecture, we collaborated with a food vocational school in Tokyo to create a tourism business model that included soil preparation using residue, harvest experiences, and recipe contests using actual food and harvested products. By continuing this initiative for about four years, we are helping to pass it on to the local community. Furthermore, during the summer vacation period, we are implementing initiatives to revitalize the region by making use of unused resources, such as holding events such as building a giant maze in a field of corn used to feed dairy cows.

(3) Sustainable and circular agriculture initiatives
By utilizing abandoned farmland and cowsheds that have become vacant due to business closures, we are helping to pass down local sustainable and circular agriculture. We aim to strengthen our efforts in food tech business by utilizing agricultural DX and build a food supply chain. We would like to create an environment where anyone can farm, visualize technology, and pass it on. We have started contracting out welfare services for companies, and are aiming for sustainable tourism by increasing the number of people involved while creating fans of the area as a second home. In the future, we would like to use the residue from the company cafeteria and school lunches as compost, and use the food harvested there for use in the company cafeteria and school lunches.

5 Future developments
By building the foundations of the local community, creating attractions that can attract visitors to the Tanna area, and engaging in activities that connect local food and tourism, we hope to improve the appeal of Shizuoka, the capital of food, and disseminate information. thinking about.
